Line Walker (Chinese: 使徒行者)=si3 tou4 hang4 ze2|cy=si tòuh hàhng jé}}; literally “Apostle Walker”) may be a 2014 Hong Kong crime thriller drama produced by TVB, starring Michael Miu, Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam because the main leads, with Sharon Chan, Benz Hui, Elena Kong, Sammy Sum, Oscar Leung and Toby Leung in major supporting roles.

Filming happened from January 2014 till May 2014. The drama began broadcasting on August 25 to October 3, 2014, on TVB Jade channel during its 9:30–10:30 p.m. timeslot.

Set in Hong Kong , China, the drama follows the lives of Hong Kong Police’s CIB undercover police agents who must live a double life in secrecy. Not knowing once they can return to their normal life, they need to also endure the constant fear of being uncovered by those they’re assigned to infiltrate. However, this point their lives are put in peril when it’s discovered that a mole lives within the police .

Plot summary

Cheuk Hoi (Michael Miu) may be a Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) in Hong Kong Police’s Criminal Intelligence Bureau (CIB) unit. he’s a righteous supervisor which will resort to unofficial tactics so as to revive the identities of his undercover subordinates who have gone missing and deemed by the local department to possess strayed to the criminal side. When he finds his friend Hong to hold , a fellow Superintendent of Police (SP) within the CIB unit, thrown off a building under mysterious circumstances, he learns from Hong’s dying words that there are moles within the police working for the triads. so as to guard the lives of his five undercover agents, Hong has deleted their files from the police database, erasing their identities as cops . Hong charges Hoi with the task of finding each lost spy , but dies before he can tell Hoi any longer information. Remembering Hong’s warning against trusting anyone within the police , Hoi keeps Hong’s last words hidden from his superiors. Instead, he sets out on his own to seek out Hong’s five undercover agents.

With clues left behind by Hong, Hoi finds spy Ting Siu Ka (Charmaine Sheh) who fronts as an owner of a foot massage parlor, and assumes his role as her new handler. Siu Ka’s only assignment under Hong was to collect intelligence but Hoi assigns her the task of helping him find the opposite four undercover agents. Siu Ka decides to urge on the brink of Sit Ka Keung (Raymond Lam), nicknamed Bao Seed who is a component of an illegal gambling gang. He fronts as an ice deliveryman but is really responsible of collecting unpaid gambling debts. Siu Ka previously clashed with Bao Seed and his partner Muk Sut once they visited her shop to gather a gambling debt but becomes friendly with them because she knows of their connection to a serious triad organization.

Meanwhile, Kobe Lin Ho Kan (Sammy Sum), another spy working for Hong, fronted as a crooked stock broker so as to travel to prison and obtain on the brink of triad boss Chum Foon Hei because the last assignment he received from Hong, but Foon Hei soon proved to be a cunning target. Unable to realize any traction with Foon Hei, Kobe believed he had failed his assignment. However upon Kobe’s release from prison, Foon Hei asks Kobe to hitch his organization. so as for Kobe to follow through together with his undercover assignment, Kobe sacrifices his relationship with ICAC officer Mok Sin Yan (Sharon Chan), who is unaware that Kobe is an spy .

Yan investigates Hoi because she suspects that he’s a unclean cop with connections to the triads due to his fast raise within the police and every one the cases he’s assigned to because the Chief inspector gets foiled. With Yan tracking his every single move, it makes things complicated for Hoi to satisfy up with the undercover agents. so as to stay one step ahead, Hoi bugs Yan’s personal belongings and overhears her personal life. Accidentally he discovers the abusive marital lifetime of Yan’s older sister Katie Mok Sin Ching (Elena Kong). While helping Katie to flee her abusive life, the 2 begin to urge closer and eventually begin a relationship.

As Siu Ka continues to figure with Bao Seed on missions for Foon Hei, she begins to develop feelings for Bao Seed. it’s eventually revealed that Bao Seed is another undercover sent out by Hong. because the 3 undercovers work along side Hoi, they begin to suspect their handler is that the mole; however, the 4th undercover, Ada (Skye Chan), was revealed and explained to them her relationship with Hong and Hong’s intentions.

When Foon Hei’s son dies from the karma of his bad deeds, Foon Hei began to vary for the higher . Hoi begins to suspect Yip Siu-leung (Patrick Tang) because the mole within the police . Kobe warns Yan to take care . initially Yan dismisses Kobe’s warning as an act of jealousy; however, she decides to research on her own and finds evidence to verify Hoi’s suspicions. Siu-leung eventually finds Yan investigating him. Hurt and enraged, he decides to kill Yan who is saved by Kobe when he tackles Siu-leung off the roof of a building.
