Thongsoi decides to hide herself by applying for a job as a maid for the Wiengsiri family where Khun Yai rules the ménage. She does not like Thongsoi and tries to get relieve of her, but Khun Klang is interested in her because she’s smarter and further able than a normal maid generally is, and he finds her familiar.
